Welcome to Warrior to Shepherd

My name is Clayton. I’m a husband, a dad of two boys, a veteran, and a first-generation farmer trying to make sense of life one sunrise at a time. This space isn’t about having it all figured out — it’s about being honest while I try. I’ve gone from combat boots to work boots, from helicopters to hayfields, from carrying a rifle to carrying the weight of being a father, husband, and provider. Some days I feel strong and grounded. Other days I feel lost, anxious, or unsure. But in all of it, I’m learning that God meets us in the middle — in the dirt, in the grief, in the laughter of our kids, and in the quiet moments after the chores are done. Warrior to Shepherd is my journal of that journey.
